Duwamish River Festival 2023 could not have been possible without your support. This year we had great attendance of 650+ people joining us in celebrating our one and only river, Duwamish River. It is our goal to bring community and partners together learning about environmental justice in the Duwamish Valley. We thank everyone that contributed to making the Duwamish River Festival happen.

15th Annual DUWAMISH RIVER FESTIVAL
When: Saturday, August 7th, 2021. 12:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Where: South Park Plaza 8456 Dallas Ave. S Seattle WA 98108
Join us for our 15th year anniversary celebrating Duwamish River Festival together with the South Park and Georgetown communities. The event brings our communities together to celebrate our diversity and the cleanup and restoration of the Duwamish River. As in previous years, the 2021 festival will feature a family-friendly mix of activities, arts, culture, and entertainment to celebrate and nurture the creation of a healthy Duwamish River. Thank you to Festival sponsors to make this possible!
The festival will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the South Park Plaza in the South Park neighborhood, with an opening ceremony led by the Duwamish Tribe. Throughout the day, attendees will enjoy interactive educational booths; kayaking trips; local vendors, kids’ art activities; and dancers and musicians.

NOTE: DRCC does not receive funding from those considered Responsible Parties in the Superfund Cleanup. We work with a local organization as a fiscal sponsor for the Duwamish River Festival to allow Responsible Parties to contribute to this community event and bring capacity to these organizations.
